I came upon an interesting design, surfing the web, which could save a lot of space. This collapsable bike would come very handy if you were to be living in an apartment or another place with very little living space. Not only does it save room but it also looks really cool when collapsed and seems to be much like a transformer.

The last project assignment was to redesign an object of bad design. As a group we took on the challenge of redesigning a standard desk lamp. Our goal was to create a light that takes up as little desk space as possible and does not have a focused light. What we came up with was a lamp that attaches to the side of a desk and has a 360 degree light emission.

After interviewing 4 people, I have found 3 main problems in which a person may encounter when using this beverage key.

Tester 1:
"I like how the bottle opener can fit inside of my pocket and is very small, but there is no leverage when I'm trying to open this bottle."

Tester 2 & 3:
I do not like the material. It is too slick and hard to get a good grip.

Tester 4:
"The edges on the opener are round so it doesn't grip the bottle cap very well. Its not very functional."

After taking into consideration the 3 main problems, i have made a few concept sketches of the new opener.

I found this really neat wall lamp that is made out of metal cylinders. I like it because they took the cylinders to not only create a light on the wall but they also turned it into a work of art when the light is not on.
